Legal Directory is a searchable guide to attorneys and legal service providers across the United States, organized by practice area and location. We built it so a person with a legal problem can find a qualified firm nearby in minutes, not days.
Our story
Built by people who help law firms get found.
Legal Directory is owned and operated by NDO SEO, LLC, a search marketing agency in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has been online since 2025. We spend our days helping law firms show up when someone nearby needs them, and we kept running into the same problem from the other side: a person with a legal issue has to click through bar association lookups, review sites buried in ads, and firm websites that never say what the first call costs.
So we built the directory we wanted to send people to. Every listing shows practice areas, contact details, consultation policy and, where available, client reviews — on one page, with filters that work.

How listings work
Every firm is checked before it goes live.
Law firms and attorneys can claim or submit a listing for free. Here is what happens between “submit” and “published.”

A firm submits or claims
The firm gives us its practice areas, office address, phone, website and consultation policy. Free listings include all of that.

We verify it
We check each submission against public records: the state bar directory, the firm's own website and its Google Business Profile. Firms we can't verify don't publish.

It goes live and stays accurate
Firms are responsible for keeping their details current. See something wrong? Use the report link on any listing or contact us.
How we make money
Paid plans and advertising. Never a firm's rating.
Legal Directory is funded two ways: firms that want more visibility can buy a Silver or Gold plan that adds photos, video, a backlink and a featured position; and we show advertisements, clearly marked, served by third parties including Google.
Paid plans affect where a listing appears. They never affect a firm's rating, its reviews, or whether it passes verification.
Reviews
Written by visitors. Read by us first.
Reviews are moderated before they publish. We remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic, or that we cannot reasonably believe come from a real client. Attorneys may respond to any review on their listing.
